What our interns and apprentices say

    Lena Sander (three-month internship)

At the end of my bachelor's degree in business administration, I completed a 3-month internship in the human resources department at Minebea Intec. During the internship, I was able to gain valuable experience that complemented my studies in a practice-oriented way.

In the course of the internship, I gained a variety of insights into the tasks of the personnel department and worked on challenging tasks and projects from the very beginning. In addition to administrative tasks, I got to know the applicant management process and the legal framework. My tasks also included welcoming new employees. I particularly enjoyed working on special projects. On the one hand, I supported my colleagues in implementing the applicant management software in the French language. On the other hand, I was involved in planning the redesign of the company's career site. I was able to contribute my own ideas and suggestions and actively contribute to the redesign.

In addition to my work in the personnel department, I had the chance to get to know other departments, such as purchasing, order entry and product management. Through this opportunity, I was able to gain valuable insights that gave me an impression of the entire company and various business processes. I also had the opportunity to get to know another location of Minebea Intec. The three months were therefore extremely varied and versatile and more than fulfilled my expectations of this internship.

Altogether, I had a very nice and instructive time at Minebea Intec, from which I will benefit a lot in the future.

    Apprentice as electronics technician

I started my apprenticeship as an electrician for devices and systems at Minebea Intec in August 2019. Since then nine eventful months have passed. Besides the assembly work in production, there is enough time to learn programming and to practice soldering, for example. I especially enjoy experimenting with the Arduino, a microcontroller that allows you to build small circuits and then

In contrast to large companies with a fixed transfer plan and apprenticeship workshop, this apprenticeship offers me more freedom and individual scope. Most of the time I work in the electrical assembly department, where I have many opportunities for project work. Currently, I am building a kind of climatic cabinet with a small control unit and a Peltier element for a testing device that will be used later in production. I am solely responsible for the planning and execution, but I can always count on the help of my colleagues.

    Students

We offer committed students their first opportunity to gain practical experience. The job opportunities are just as varied as our company. Possible areas include, for example, purchasing, sales, marketing, finance and production. From the start, you will help with projects and challenging tasks. This will allow you to put your professional talents and passions to the test. We offer paid internships at our three sites in Hamburg, Bovenden and Aachen.

Are you about to graduate and want to write your dissertation here? Then we would be happy to help you. You will be given a specific contact who will give you valuable support. At the same time, you will be able to build up a professional network.

You can also gain your first professional experience with us as part of a student traineeship.

You will fit right in with us if you are studying a business administration, engineering, science or information technology course, have an interest in technology, understand the commercial process in a company, are a team player, committed, reliable and independent, and if you identify with our corporate values.
